Tile Installer in Lakewood Ranch FL: Expert Labor Only Service

Why Lakewood Ranch Homeowners Hire a Labor Only Tile Installer

Finding a reliable tile installer in Lakewood Ranch FL starts with understanding how the work is structured. Doxa Flooring Inc is a labor only installer, which means our focus is the skilled installation itself. You choose your tile at the showroom or supplier you prefer, and our crew concentrates on layout, setting, grouting, and finishing. That keeps the process transparent and lets you shop for materials on your own terms.

Doxa Flooring was founded in 2016 by Luciano and Joanna Soares in Bradenton, just minutes from Lakewood Ranch. As a family owned and owner operated company, we stay involved in each job from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup. With more than 1,000 residential and commercial projects completed across eight Florida counties, we bring that experience to every home we work in.

Tile Projects We Install in Lakewood Ranch Homes

Tile is our primary service, and Lakewood Ranch homes offer plenty of opportunities for it. Many homeowners start with main living area floors, where porcelain tile stands up to Florida humidity, sandy foot traffic, and the occasional spill. Others focus on primary bathrooms, walk in showers, kitchen backsplashes, laundry rooms, and covered lanais that connect indoor and outdoor living.

We install porcelain and ceramic tile, wood look planks, mosaics, and large format tile in a wide range of sizes. Wood look porcelain is especially popular because it delivers the warmth of hardwood without worrying about moisture or pests. If you are planning a larger remodel, we can also coordinate tile work around your other trades so the schedule stays organized and your home is not torn up longer than necessary.

Preparing the Subfloor and Layout for Lasting Results

The most beautiful tile will not last if the surface underneath is not ready. Most Lakewood Ranch homes sit on concrete slabs, and slabs can have small cracks, uneven spots, or leftover adhesive from older flooring. Before setting any tile, we check flatness, address low and high areas, and make sure the surface is clean and properly prepared for the thinset and any crack isolation or waterproofing products that are needed.

Layout matters just as much. We plan where the first full tile will land, how cuts will fall at doorways and walls, and how grout lines will line up from room to room. Good planning avoids thin sliver cuts at the edges and keeps patterns looking intentional. This is especially important with large format tile, where flatness requirements are tighter and small mistakes are easy to see.

What Tile Installation Costs in Lakewood Ranch

Because we are labor only, our pricing reflects installation work rather than material purchases. Floor tile installation starts at $4 per sq ft, large format floor tile installation starts at $6 per sq ft, and wall tile installation starts at $12 per sq ft. These are starting prices only, and the exact price for your project comes from a free custom quote.

Final pricing depends on the size and layout of the space, the type of tile, the condition of the existing surface, and any demolition or prep work. Showers, diagonal patterns, and detailed mosaics take more time than a straight lay floor. We walk through the scope with you in advance so there are no surprises once the work begins.

How to Choose the Right Tile Installer in Lakewood Ranch

A tile job is only as good as the person setting it, so ask direct questions before you hire anyone. Confirm that the installer is licensed and insured in Florida, ask how they prepare subfloors, and find out how they handle waterproofing in wet areas. Request a clear written scope so you know what is covered and what is not. Doxa Flooring is licensed and insured in Florida, and we are happy to answer these questions up front.

Our work has been recognized with Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite awards in 2022 and 2023, a Top 1% Tiling Contractor designation from the Quality Business Awards in 2024, and a Top Gun recognition from the Manatee County Advisory Board. We also serve customers in both English and Spanish. If you want a tile installer who communicates clearly and treats your home with care, we would be glad to talk through your project.

Choosing a tile installer in Lakewood Ranch comes down to preparation, craftsmanship, and honest communication. With a labor only approach, careful subfloor work, and a family owned team behind every job, Doxa Flooring is ready to help you get floors, showers, and walls that look great and hold up for years in the Florida climate.
